The animations below were made with inhouse developed tools that can create any amount of text in any font and supports the entire unicode glyph set. It’s instance based so it can handle a large body of text without draining system resources. it has an internal cursor and a SDF that makes it possible to apply effects to whatever region of text desired. It consists of python code that can read any unicode text and convert it to character instances which is then manipulated by Blender’s Geometry Nodes to create the effect.
Curve growth algorithm turned into rods of Ash and Cherry forming animated letters. The effect is created using geometry nodes in Blender and the Ash and Cherry wood is also procedurally created in the material editor.
Animation of an effect using Procedural geometry and shader.
Morphing text from one text line to another with different number of characters
I created geometry nodes writing system in blender and adapted the rig to include a IK rig to have the pen attached and follow the writing cursor provided by the node syatem
